IBM iSeries Solution
The systems architecture for Investment Systems Company software products are based upon IBM's award winning
iSeries (AS/400) platform. The iSeries midrange server and the OS/400 operating system offer unparallel speed, strength and stability for a core platform upon which runs the critical applications of an investment operating system... portfolio accounting and back-office software.

Simplicity of the system attracts users to AS/400 and makes migration a painless proposition. Workload consolidation, low administrative costs, reliability and integration with other Windows applications make the AS/400 a truly pivotal system to run an organization or conduct e-business activities.
OS/400 Operating System is designed as a single entity, offering built-in facilities such as the DB2-based relational database (an advanced 64-bit relational database system), communications and networking capabilities, online help and much more. With the iSeries, the user/operator communicates with all of the components of the operating system using an intuitive graphical user interface.
Run up to three Windows servers in a single iSeries Model 270, up to 12 Windows servers in a Model 820, up to 28 Windows servers in a Model 830 and up to 32 Windows servers in a Model 840. This allows you to keep your Intel-based servers separate, but manage them in a single system with consolidated storage of up to two Terabytes (TB) of disk per Windows server.
LPAR Technology - Logical partitioning allows you to manage multiple applications and services in a single server.
Microsoft Windows NT & 2000 Server, Lotus Domino, Linux, Unix, WebSphere and Java, Integrated File System, and more run alongside OS/400 under OS/400 management.
Windows Integration - YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.
Innovative Integration, Superior Flexibility, Graphical Management, Pervasive Computing, and more.
